Brad Fogo, Elder

I grew up on a farm by Esbon, in north central Kansas. The only time I went to church as a child was when my mom would take me and my seven brothers and sisters to Vacation Bible School. In 1972, I married my high school sweetheart, Pam. Shortly thereafter, I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior while a student at Barton County Junior College in Great Bend, Kansas.

I graduated from Nebraska Christian College in 1975 and Cincinnati Christian University in 1994. I served as the pastor of Fontana (KS) Christian Church for thirty years, from 1976 to 2006. From February 2007 until retirement at the end of December 2020, I served on staff here at Crossroads Christian Church. In my role as Associate Pastor, my primary responsibilities were overseeing the Small Groups and Pastoral Care Ministries. I continue to serve Crossroads as an elder, Ministry Team Leader for our Service Ministry and enjoy leading Small Group Bible Studies. For over 20 years I have volunteered in various capacities with the Kansas Christian Evangelizing Association (CEA). In January 2023 I accepted the position of Executive Director of the CEA.

Pam and I have been married for over 50 years and have one daughter, Kristi. She and her husband, Chris, have blessed us with three terrific grandchildren who live too far from us in Firestone, Colorado. We love spending time with the grandkids, traveling, and home improvement projects. My idea of unplugging is getting on my motorcycle and trying to get lost.
