Purpose Statement: Crossroads Groups exist to promote healthy, spiritual friendships that create unity and community. We do this by growing healthy friendships, studying the Bible and developing Biblical community in Groups. As our church grows larger, we want to continually grow smaller through our Groups Ministry.
The driving passage for groups is Hebrews 10:24-25 which says this:
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
How to Join a Group?
Our group options are separated into “Study” and “Community” groups. A study group will be centered around the study of or about the Bible. These could be focused on a book of the Bible, a Biblical topic or theme or contextual information surrounding the scriptures. A Community group will center more around fellowship and connection using different themes, activities or stage of life.
Look carefully through the group options that are being offered this fall. When you are ready, click the “Join a Small Group Button” whick will direct you to the form you need to complete to join.
If you would like to join more than one group, you will need to complete the form for each group you join.
Study Groups
Study group are designed to provide opportunity to learn more about the bible, faith and everything in between. The different groups will focus on topical things or specific books of the Bible. These studies might be based on a video curriculum, a study book or just a conversation about scripture and verse. Some studies will be located at the church and others will be in the hosts home. But all study groups are purposed in educating and edifying the faith of our Crossroads family as we strive to live out our faith in Christ.

Grace
Diving in on Grace.
We often talk about grace, but do we really understand it? Grace politely occupies a phrase in a hymn and fits nicely on a church sign. It never causes trouble or demands a response. When asked, “Do you believe in grace?” who could say no? Bestselling author and pastor Max Lucado helps us dive deeper into what it means to be changed by grace. God’s grace has a drenching about it. A wildness about it. A white-water, riptide, turn-you-upside-downness about it. Grace comes after you. It rewires you.

When God’s Purpose Isn’t in Your Plans
The book of Jonah is best known for Jonah’s run-in with a large fish. But there’s much more to the story than Jonah’s three-day stay in a fish’s belly. It’s about God’s grace, compassion, and love—even toward wayward people—and his commitment to spreading his message around the world.

Whether you’re a new mom, a seasoned mom, or somewhere in between, you’ll find a welcoming place to laugh, grow, share your story, and discover that you don’t have to do motherhood alone.
