Christmas Hope Marketplace
This Christmas, the Missions Ministry Team is inviting you to serve with us at the Wyandotte County Christmas Hope Marketplace. This is a Christmas store specifically, to offer support to lower income families provide for their families Christmas needs.
There are two ways you can help:
Donations: Nov. 15 – 29th
Crossroads has committed to provide books for the Christmas store. We do not need to collect Board books or the like for young children. What is needed is chapter books for upper elementary, Teens and Tweens. These books need to be new or nearly new quality with appropriate themes and plots. A collection table will be in the entry way on Nov. 15, 22 and 29th.
So, until then, start going through your own book collection or take a shopping trip to Half Priced Books to start preparing your donations.
Serve: December 3rd – 5th
Another way you can help is to volunteer to work at the Christmas Hope Marketplace. It will be located at Blessed Sacrament Church on Parallel Road. They will need lots of volunteers to set up, run and tear down the store. Sign-Up to volunteer as soon as today, but we will also be hosting a sign-up table during our donation collection.

You will be able to meet and connect with various ministries (and their workers) from all around the world. Ministries like Haitian Christian Outreach, Books and More, Mustard Seed Network, MMS Aviation, Team Expansion, IDES and more.
Crossroads Kids Big House
November 13-14
Big House is an overnight event designed for 3-5th graders where we gather with a couple other local churchs’ children’s ministries. We’d love for your kids to join us for an unforgettable night of fun, faith, and friendship. By meeting and having fun with other kids from different churches, we’ll celebrate the big, beautiful community of God that stretches far beyond our own church walls.
Tonganoxie Christian Church will be hosting the event this year! The plan is to carpool from Crossroads; parent chaperones are welcome (see registration options). While it will be lock-in style with all the food and games your kids can imagine, the evening will also include a hayride, inflatable fun, and campfire worship/devotional time!
