Purpose Statement: Small Groups exist to promote healthy, spiritual friendships that create unity and community. We do this by growing healthy friendships, studying the Bible and developing Biblical community in Small Groups. As our church grows larger, we want to continually grow smaller through our Small Group Ministry.
The driving passage for small groups is Hebrews 10:24-25 which says this:
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Study Groups
Study group are designed to provide opporunity to learn more about the bible, faith and everything in between. The different groups will focus on topical things or specific books of the Bible. These studies might be based on a video curriculum, a study book or just a conversation about scripture and verse. Some studies will be located at the church and others will be in the hosts home. But all study groups are purposed in educating and edifying the faith of our Crossroads family as we strive to live out our faith in Christ.
