The Missions Ministry Team Presents:
In the month of November we are offering four ways that you can make a difference for people in our community.
Together we will be asking you to use your time, your energy and your resources to provide a “week of meals” to those who need it. Lets make a difference with the physical needs in someones life. Perhaps we wil also make an eternal impact in their life as well.

November
3, 4, 5, 7, 8
4:30 – 6:00p
On these dates we will be serving a meal at the City Union Mission Family Center. This is open for families and students and kids if they are accompanied by an adult. Students 15 and under are welcome to serve in the dinning area but not in the kitchen.
We will need 12 people to serve at each one of these meals. After sign up you will be contacted by the meal coordinator
November 9th
10:00a-2:00p
On this date we will be serving the Thanksgiving meal for 125 people at the Starfish Project in Olathe as well as providing hair cuts to those who need it.
The day will be divided into two shifts from 10:00a-12:00p and from 12:00-2:00p. We will need 6 meal servers per shift and 2 hair stylists per shift.
We will also be asking for very specific food donations to help make this Thanksgiving meal a special one.
October 27 to November 10
As part of our week of meals we will be asking for your help collecting canned and non perishable food items.
We will be collecting these items in the entry way and in a covered trailer just outside the main entrance. Help us stuff the trailer with food.
Collected food items will be dispersed to the Bonner Springs, DeSoto and Shawnee community food pantries.
