David Nichols, Elder

David grew up in the Kansas City and Western Shawnee area and is a 1988 graduate of DeSoto High School. He went on to attend Johnson County Community College. Raised in the church, David was baptized as a teenager and has continued to grow in his faith throughout his life.

In 1989, David began working at Phenix Label, where he currently serves as Brand Manager. He met his wife, Debbie, in 1996, and the two were married the following year. They now live in Bonner Springs and are proud parents of two sons and grandparents to two wonderful grandchildren.

David and Debbie began attending Crossroads in 2004 and became members a few years later. David plays drums in the church band and served as a youth sponsor for nine years. He has a deep love for music and sports and is an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and Kansas Jayhawks.

David enjoys reading his Bible daily. He believes doing so not only gets him into God’s word, but helps God’s word get into him!
