Mark Palmer, Associate Minister
Mark has been serving in the ministry since 1992 and has been serving at Crossroads since 2005. The focus of his ministry for 28 years was in the area of Children and Youth, serving at 2 other churches before coming to Crossroads. For 6 years he has served as the Digital Engagement Pastor at Crossroads.
Mark likes to learn new things and try his hand at different projects. He successfully remodeled his own kitchen and living room with no major problems so far. Mark likes to call himself “a perfectionist heart…I’m just not very good at it.”
Mark loves to travel to knew places to connect with places and moments of history, to learn and experience new cultures, and to appreciate the beauty of God’s creation. He has been known to dangle off th edge of one of the tallest buildings in New York as well as scale the Via Ferrat in Lauterbrunen, Switzerland. On these adventures he might even have a Dr. Pepper in hand.
Mark is the Missions Ministry Team overseer and loves to serve in this capacity to support, encourage and engage with those who serve around the world. He has also had the opportunity to over the years lead teenagers and adults on numerous stateside service trips and dozens of overseas mission trips to Brazil, Jordan and Japan.
Throughough all these years, Mark has been supported by his wife Kim Palmer. They have three children who are all out of the house and doing well. Mark and Kim currently have two grandkids who are a blast to play with.
