Purpose Statement: Small Groups exist to promote healthy, spiritual friendships that create unity and community. We do this by growing healthy friendships, studying the Bible and developing Biblical community in Small Groups. As our church grows larger, we want to continually grow smaller through our Small Group Ministry.
The driving passage for small groups is Hebrews 10:24-25 which says this:
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Study Groups
Study group are designed to provide opporunity to learn more about the bible, faith and everything in between. The different groups will focus on topical things or specific books of the Bible. These studies might be based on a video curriculum, a study book or just a conversation about scripture and verse. Some studies will be located at the church and others will be in the hosts home. But all study groups are purposed in educating and edifying the faith of our Crossroads family as we strive to live out our faith in Christ.

Pressure Points
Some days life can feel like a giant pressure cooker. The easy response is to just open whatever valve will release the pressure — but too often that valve spews the pent-up steam of sin, frustration, harsh words and inappropriate actions. There is a better way!
The book of James is one of the most practical books of Christian living found in the Bible. Through this study we will learn how to deal positively with the pressure points in our lives. Pressure doesn’t have to dismantle our faith; rather it can lead us to experience the presence and power of God like never before.
Some of the topics include: Trials, Temptation, Conflict, Retaliation.

MOMco
Formerly we met at the MOPs group. Maybe you are in a season where you feel you are not showing up well for yourself or others; just going through the motions, trying to get to the end of the week.
Looking at the adversity and division that seems to be seeping into the fabric of our culture, hope offers another option – the
opportunity to see new paths and ways of living that we might not have considered before. It reminds us that we can make a positive difference in our families and communities and that tough times will not paralyze us. Hope requires courage and trust because to see the new thing God is doing likely means going into the wilds – paths that take us through uncomfortable places and challenges that nourish our deepest longing.
