Ministry Team Sign-Ups

One of the pillars of ministry at Crossroads is our Ministry Teams. Serving is an opportunity to contribute to the physical and spiritual health and function of Crossroads Christian Church. Through serving you have the opportunity to get to know others and to build relationships that will last and minister to the needs of others.
In addition, when you offer yourself to help serve the needs of others… you discover a stronger sense of who God wants you to be and develop the skills for God’s purpose in you.

A Closer Look Class
March 7th
A Closer Look is a class designed to give you a crash course on our church. It includes how we are organized, what we believe, why we do what we do, how you can get involved, etc. We hope that by taking this class you will find a good fit in making Crossroads your church home.
The class begins at 9:00a. Donuts, coffee and juice will be here waiting for you. We will also serve lunch and wrap it up at around 1:00p. Childcare is available if requested at the time of your RSVP.
Men’s Fellowship Breakfast

Join us on March 7 at 8:00a our monthly men’s gathering is open to guys 16y and older. Join us at Rise N Shine, (7182 Renner Rd Shawnee, KS 66217) for some good food and good fellowship.

Extraordinary Womens Conference
March 6 – 7
The Women Ministry Team invite you to attend the Extroaordinary Women Conference with them at the Mabee Center in Tulsa on March 6–7.
Registration is $89 per person, with an optional $15 Chick-fil-A lunch. Lodging will be a shared rental home. An additional charge of about $50 per person will be collected by Jesse for lodging. Carpooling will be arranged once the group is finalized with a tentative departure of 11:00a, March 6.

MAP Initiative
March 22 – April 5
The Missions Ministry Team wants to invite you to join us on a journey of assessment and prayer. The purpose of this journey is to ask God to provide wisdom and guidance for the Missions Ministry Team as we seek what is next for our team. Specifically we are asking God to lead us to where he wants us to send our next Living Link Missionaries.
The initative will begin on Sunday, March 22nd and continue through April 5th. Every day for fourteen days you will be given a prayer prompt to read through, pray about and consider questions that are provided. You can receive these prayer prompts from an email or you can pick up a booklet in the entry way. Following the two-weeks of prayer we will ask you to complete a survey based on thoughts and concerns that God may have brought to your mind as you were praying. The results of the survey will be given to the Missions Ministry team to look at and evaluate (the results will not be made public). This information will help the Missions Ministry Team decern from your input what God might have in store for us next.

Camp and VBS Registration
Crossroads Kids Camp Registration is open with VBS registration opening very soon. VBS registration will open Easter weekend.
VBS Week:

- K-1st Graders Day Camp: June 19th
- 2nd-3rd Grade Camp: June 25th-26th
- 4th-6th Grade Camp: June 28th-July 1st
(note: missions’ scholarship is only available for one camp per calendar year. Students going into 6th grade have the unique opportunity to choose which camp they would like to go to between CK and XRS)
2026 Middle School Spring Retreat

These truths reveal exactly who Jesus is and why only He can satisfy, lead, rescue, and give life. As students explore these statements, they’ll discover that nothing the world offers can compare to the life found in Christ—because what He offers is Himself.
Join us for an unforgettable weekend designed specifically for middle school students! We’re returning to the beautiful Falley Scout Reservation near Lake Perry, where students will experience meaningful teaching, small‑group time, worship, games, and time away to connect with God and each other.
Camp Bound Garage Sale
We’re launching our second fundraiser of the year: the Camp Bound Garage Sale! We’re collecting gently used items from our church family to sell during our garage sale the first week of June. All proceeds support sending students to camp.

Spring Break Pickups
During Mill Valley’s Spring Break (week of March 16), students will be available to pick up donations while they’re out of school.
