Kurt Witten – Lead Pastor

Kurt was born & raised in Miami, OK. He was blessed to grow up in church, and was always active serving and participating wherever he could. He graduated from The University of Oklahoma in 2005 with a BA in Journalism, but God had other plans.

After teaching high school & coaching girls’ soccer for five years, he left the education field to attend Ozark Christian College and enter ministry. After finishing his BA in Bible and Ministry from Ozark in 2014, he did a residency at Christ’s Church of the Valley in Phoenix, AZ, while earning a Masters from Johnson University. Kurt was the Senior Pastor at Redwood Christian Church in Grants Pass, OR, from 2016-2021. While serving there, he completed a Masters of Divinity from Hope International University.

Kurt has been married to Jennifer since 2009. They have three kids:  Elsie, Amelie, and Titus. He enjoys watching sports, especially his Oklahoma Sooners and St. Louis Cardinals (he also likes the Royals and could eventually become a Chiefs fan). Kurt’s hobbies include cooking/grilling, traveling, and Star Wars.
